The Wine was bottled by my Great Uncle and cousin with grapes from my Grandparent’s small vineyard in the California foothills. They named it I Fiori della Montagne (The Flowers of the Mountains).

statement: An empty lawn chair on my grandpa’s porch, shadows that jet through railing on the freeway at about 4:47 pm, the silhouette of his shoulder by candlelight, the chashink of my shutter release, the unmistakable smell of developer, wrinkles, 2 birds sitting in opposite directions side by side on a street lamp, 4 birds flying in a diagonal line, rain bouncing off of concrete, the story of the ax and the butterfly, telephone wires intersecting, the mist blowing off of a plane wing on an overcast morning, a 90° angle, a secret kiss stolen in the kitchen– is why I take pictures.
side note: The color photos in the show were taken with my first digital camera which was a Fuji FinePix 2300 (2.1 megapixels).
